Description & Accessibility Information

When taking cruises in the winter season I always try to go 2 days ahead, this time trying to save money on hotels I went 1 day ahead.

Detroit airport Well we just barely made the connections in Detroit.

Even though Ottawa, Canada had no storms, Detroit did. I originally had more than 2 hours in Detroit to make the connection, but the Plane would not take off in Ottawa until the runways where reopened in Detroit that burned up most of the 2 hours I would have had in Detroit by the time we time we landed in Detroit we had less than a half hour to get to another section of the airport to make the connection, we just barely made it and was one of the last people to board the plane.

Once landed in Fort Lauderdale, a phone call to the hotel to get their free transfer to hotel from airport, the van was not wheelchair accessible but was able to take our luggage and travel scooter and with some help was able to get into the van.
